However, there are certain advantage and disadvantages of Laptop over desktop computers.

1. Laptops are not very durable compare to desktop. Laptop is very delicate.
2. Laptop is convenient to take anywhere. So the persons require computer while moving must buy laptop.
3. Mouse is replaced by fingure in laptop, as a result, it is incovenient to operate specially for new users.
4. Desktop can be repaired by the user even for hardware faliure. But laptop is very difficult to repair at home due to lack of proper tools.
5. Laptop has its own limitation in attaching several devices as there is limited scope for attaching various devices. However, in desktop you can add several devices at ease.
6. Laptop is inconvenient for children where as children can easily operate desktop.
7. Desktop is more reliable than laptop. and desktop is more hardy than laptop.
8. For presentation purpose outside home, laptop is better.
9. Laptop is costlier than desktop
10. Laptop occupies very little space
